The experienced Uruguayan striker, Luis Suárez, 36 years old, currently in the ranks of the Brazilian Gremio, is at the center of attention due to the conversations he has started with Inter Miami of the Major League Soccer (MLS) of the USA. This possible transfer could lead to a reunion with his friend and former Barcelona teammate, Leo Messi, in the next MLS season, which will begin next March.

According to sources close to the player and the club, Luis Suárez is in full negotiations with Inter Miami, with the possibility of signing an initial one-year contract, which could be extendable if both parties reach a favorable agreement. This news has generated great interest in football fans since seeing Suárez and Messi play together again is a dream come true for many.

They already tried it in the summer

It is worth remembering that Inter Miami had already tried to sign Luis Suárez last summer, but at that time, Gremio was reluctant to let him leave. However, as part of talks to facilitate his eventual transfer, the Brazilian club agreed to reduce Suarez’s contract from two to one season, paving the way for his departure to MLS.

Despite the ongoing negotiations with Inter Miami, Gremio managers have not given up on the possibility of retaining Suárez. They have made it clear that they are willing to present an attractive offer on a new contract to convince the Uruguayan striker to remain at the club.
