The two signings that West Ham hopes to make at the end of the market

Amidst the chaos of the transfer market, West Ham is actively searching for new players to strengthen their forward line. The recent loan of Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City has not brought any calm to the situation, and now the Hammers have set their sights on Inter’s Valentín Carboni to replace Pablo Fornals, who is nearing an agreement with Real Betis. Additionally, they are also keeping a close eye on Newcastle striker Callum Wilson.

According to sources close to CaughtOffside, West Ham has expressed interest in signing Callum Wilson, who has already scored eight goals this season. While the London club is not in a hurry to finalize the deal, Wilson is considering his options before the January transfer window closes.

Apart from Wilson, West Ham is closely monitoring Inter’s attacking midfielder, Valentín Carboni. Although they have not yet made a formal offer, it is expected that the Argentine will remain at Monza until the end of the season. However, West Ham may face tough competition in the summer, as Simone Inzaghi is keen on keeping the player for the 2024/25 season.

In terms of potential departures from West Ham, Saïd Benrahma is under scrutiny and will be allowed to leave in January if a respectable offer comes in. Clubs from France and Spain have already shown interest, and there are rumors of admirers in Saudi Arabia as well.

The closest departure on the horizon is that of Pablo Fornals to Real Betis. Negotiations have reached a crucial stage, and we could receive confirmation of his transfer in the next few hours. With Fornals no longer in David Moyes’ plans, West Ham is looking to reinforce their squad with Carboni and maintain their competitiveness in the Premier League.
