Tottenham Hotspur has emerged as a possible suitor for the signing of Galatasaray defender Victor Nelsson and would be willing to shell out a considerable sum of €30 million to secure his services, thus distancing Sevilla from the race for the Nordic player.
Nelsson has become, as we say, an important objective for Tottenham Hotspur in their search to strengthen their defense during the next window of the transfer market, with the activation of his termination clause being a strategic move to guarantee his arrival at the London team. Thus leaving with honey on the lips of a Sevilla team that last year tried unsuccessfully to acquire his services.
Tottenham are desperately looking for a defender
The English team thinks, as we say, about reinforcing its squad in key areas, and defense is one of them, all with the final objective of increasing the competitive level of the team led by Ante Postecoglu who has given the green light to an operation that may result in one of the most notable of the London team facing the second round of this 2023/2024 season in which Tottenham is currently fighting for the leadership of the Premier League.
