Luka Modric could be set to leave Real Madrid this summer as his contract is set to expire.
The former Ballon D’or winner has been an incredible servant to Real but could be let go for nothing.
The Croatian international has won everything there is to win at Real but insists he wants to finish his career at the club.
Modric wants to keep playing but has not yet been offered a new deal.
However, with the possibility of Modric leaving Real for free, some clubs are interested in signing the veteran.
One of the clubs is Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.
Former teammate and fellow Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo is currently at the Saudi club.
Ronaldo could possibly be a factor in bringing the midfielder to the middle eastern club.
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, “Al Nasr are still working to sign Luka Modric as a free agent at the end of the season.
Confirmed.”
“SAFF are also trying to facilitate the deal: nothing agreed or decided yet, but the will of the Saudi club is to do the best to convince the Croatian midfielder.”
