Real Madrid extended their unbeaten start to this LaLiga season to 12 games, although they will ultimately be disappointed to draw 1-1 with a resilient Girona outfit at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
Attempts arrived via Luka Modrić and Rodrygo in the opening minutes – the latter’s was particularly dangerous, the Brazilian forcing Paulo Gazzaniga into a wonderful save.

Michel’s visiting outfit will undoubtedly be proud of their display to grab a point, even if they have now gone seven games without victory.
