Estelle Cascarino of France and Jayde Riviere of Canada have joined Manchester United.
Riviere, who has 36 caps for Canada and gold in the 2020 Olympic Games, arrives on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Cascarino, who can play in defense or midfield, arrives on loan from Paris St-Germain for the rest of the season with the option to purchase.
“Estelle will provide skill and variety both in and out of possession,” United manager Marc Skinner remarked.
“We played against Estelle in the Toulouse Cup in the summer, and it was evident what she can contribute to our squad,” he continued.
“On the pitch, I am a warrior and prefer to help the club in both attack and defense,” Cascarino, who has previously played for Bordeaux, Paris FC, and Lyon, stated.
Riviere, 21, who most recently played for AFC Ann Arbor in the USL W League, claimed she is a “passionate” United supporter, calling the transfer a “dream come true”.
“Jayde is a dynamic young player who fits United’s long-term vision,” Skinner stated.
“We’ve been watching Jayde for a long time and feel she has the potential to be a great footballer.”
