Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has been ruled out of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester City due to a hamstring injury.
Martial sustained the injury in the 2-1 win over Fulham last Sunday and joins Marcel Sabitzer, Donny van de Beek and Lisandro Martinez on the list of sidelined players.
The France international has been in good form since returning to the United squad in March, scoring two goals in his last four appearances.
His absence is a blow to United manager Erik ten Hag, who is already without Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood.
Ten Hag will now have to decide who to start up front against City. Marcus Rashford is the most likely option, but Anthony Elanga and Alejandro Garnacho could also be considered.
The FA Cup final is a huge game for United, who are looking to win their first major trophy since 2017.
City are the favorites to win, but United will be hoping to pull off an upset and end their trophy drought.
