Jorge Mendes wants to convince Ansu Fati to join Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window.
Barcelona will not block a move for the 20-year-old attacker as they look to balance the books in the coming weeks.
The Spanish international made waves in his debut season, becoming Barcelona’s second-youngest debutant.
The 20-year-old is at a tier below the performance levels he showed in 2019/20.
And while Fati has turned out 50 times for Barcelona this season, he has struggled for regular starts.
So the youngster faces an uncertain future at Spotify Camp Nou, with Barcelona open to cashing in on him.
Reports last month also suggested that Barcelona might use Fati in the deal to sign Ruben Neves.
However, Fati remains on the Black Country outfit’s wishlist for the summer transfer window.
The Midlands club will likely lose Adama Traore in the summer transfer window.
In addition, several other attackers face an uncertain future at the Molineux heading into the summer transfer window.
Fati is thus a viable target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
But the 20-year-old Barcelona attacker is not keen on joining the Black Country outfit.
However, Jorge Mendes is now pushing the young forward to end his Barcelona misery by moving to the Premier League club.
It will be interesting to see if Mendes can convince Fati to move to the Premier League.
But after showing immense promise and potential in his debut season, joining Wolverhampton Wanderers will be an underwhelming move for the 20-year-old Barcelona star.
