It is no secret to anyone at this point that Barcelona urgently needs a top-level striker to replace Robert Lewandowski, all while waiting for the arrival of a Vitor Roque who remains a complete unknown for the future, needing something of a greater guarantee at least for next season.
One of those alternatives would be that of Rafael Leao who, despite renewing his contract with AC Milan, would not have his continuity at the Rossonero club assured, with Jorge Mendes looking for the formula to try to do another business at the expense of Joan Laporta, who could sit at negotiate the conditions of a transfer that Milan estimates at more than 100 million euros, a figure that Barcelona could not pay at the moment.
The great leap of his career
Rafael Leao has, as we say, a contract in force with Milan until June 30, 2028, after his last renewal, with the need for a top-level offensive reinforcement for 2024/2025 being what leads Barcelona to seek in some way the way to convince the San Siro team to negotiate what could be one of the big bombs of the next summer transfer market.
