Jadon Sancho was an extremely exciting signing when he joined Manchester United in 2021.
United spent a lot of time and worked extremely hard behind the scenes to make sure the deal was done.
Sancho joined the club when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was manager and played a large number of games during his first season.
38 games across all competitions saw Sancho score 5 goals and assist 3.
With it being United’s worst season in the Premier League, many fans stated that the Englishman needed more time to adjust to life at Old Trafford.
The 22 year old started this season well with an impressive goal vs Liverpool and Leicester City.
However, the winger has spent time away from the team to work on things off the pitch which was handled well and sanctioned by Erik Ten Hag. Some improvements have been made but it still seems that there is a lack of direction for Sancho at United.
A report from a month or two ago stated that Sancho was on the list of possible sales this summer.
A decision will be made over the next few months by the manager but the sale of someone like Sancho is not impossible.
Ten Hag may have to raise funds through sales and United could turn to an asset like the young talent to move on in the window.
Time will tell whether Sancho’s future lies at Old Trafford or not.
