Inter Milan want to sign Trevoh Chalobah in the upcoming transfer window.
The 23-year-old centre-back has been on the radar of the Serie A giants for over a year now and they might push for his services in the summer.
Inter were keen on signing the Englishman last summer.
They approached Chelsea for a potential loan deal but the Blues were not interested in letting their 23-year-old defender leave the club.
Since then, a lot has changed at Chelsea, but Inter’s interest in Chalobah remains intact.
The 23-year-old has been at Chelsea since 2007.
Chalobah has been involved in a total of 63 matches for the Blues and also has five goal contributions to his name.
As far as the ongoing season is concerned, the England youth international has been involved in 33 matches and has been on the pitch for 2,289 minutes.
While he did sign a contract extension in November last year, the 23-year-old is not sure about continuing at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Inter are ready to prise him away from the Blues.
Chelsea value him at around £25 million, and Inter are ready to meet the price tag.
With Matteo Darmian and Francesco Acerbi both in the twilight of their career, Inter are in desperate need of signing a new defender.
They have been following Chalobah for a while now and believe acquiring his services could help their cause.
If the 23-year-old is not a part of Pochettino’s plan, Inter could acquire him without much trouble.
