Hafiz Wontah Konkoni is a Ghanaian professional footballer who was born in the northern part of Ghana. Hafiz was born on the 27 of December,1999. He has a height of 1.85m.
Hafiz Konkoni began his footballing career from a lower-tier team in WA in the upper west region of Ghana. During that period, he was a student in the teacher training college. In 2017/18 , he joined a club in the top flight league of Ghana, Bechem United from his home town club Bolga All stars. In that season, Hafiz had twenty-two appearances and nine goals to his credit.
Hafiz Konkoni after a season with Bechem United signed a two years contract with a Northern Cypriot club, Alsancak Yesilova. In that same year, he was loaned off to Baf ülka Yurdu. In his first season, Hafiz made five appearances,scored one and gave four assist to his teammates. Along the season, his campaign was disrupted by series of injuries.
Ahead of the 2019/20 Ghana premier league season, Konkoni returned to his former club and featured in 14 league matches, scored 2 goals and made 1 assists before the league was truncated due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Hafiz Konkoni has finally picked up the pieces. In the 2022/23 Ghana premier league season, he has been extremely instrumental in the Bechem United team. Hafiz as a forward in the 2022/23 season have made twenty-five appearances and has scored fifteen goals which makes him the second top scorer in the just ended Ghana premier league season.
