Ronaldo de Assist Moreira is a citizen of Brazil who was born in the city of Porto Alegre, The state of Rio Grande do SUL on 21 March,1980. He is popular known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho.
Ronaldinho Gaúcho grew up playing street soccer in his vicinity and went on to become one of the greatest professional player’s of all time. Gaúcho started his footballing career from a local team, Grêmio in 1987-1998.
Ronaldinho moved through the youth side of Grêmio and had his senior team debut at the age of twenty for Grêmio FC in the year,1998. He had eighty-nine appearances and forty-seven goals for Grêmio. In 2001, Gaúcho signed a two years contract with Paris Saint Germain in the French Ligue-one for a transfer fee of €5m. He played in fifty-five matches for P.S.G and seventeen goals.
In 2003 to 2008, Ronaldinho Gaúcho joined FC Barcelona for a transfer fee of €32.25m in the Spanish la-Liga. During his time with the club, He had one hundred and forty-five appearances and seventy goals to his credit.
After a successful spell with FC Barcelona, he moved to Ac-Milan in the Italian top flight league for a transfer deal of €24.15m. Gaúcho had a three years spell, 2008-2011 seasons. Gaúcho had seventy-six appearances with twenty goals to his credit.
Ronaldinho Gaúcho finally decided to leave European football and join his country’s football club, Flamengo FC in the 2011-2012 season for a transfer fee of €3m. In his first season with the club, he enjoyed 56 appearances and twenty-three goals. After a season, he moved to Atlético Mineiro on a free transfer deal. Gaúcho spent two years with the club a and he had fifty-eight appearances and twenty goals to his credit.
In 2014-2015, Ronaldinho joined Querétaro on a free transfer deal and he show his quality by scoring eight goals in twenty-five appearances. After a year spell, he took a decision to join Fluminense, a club in the Brazilian topflight league on another free transfer deal in 2015.
Ronaldinho Gaúcho never fell short with the Brazilian national team. He had his first national team call in the under-17 in the year,1997 where he featured in thirteen games and scored three goals. In 1998-1999, Ronaldinho Gaúcho had another call-up to the Brazilian under-20. He featured in seventeen games and scored eight goals.
Gaúcho in 1999-2000 got a another call-up to the under-23 and was able to score fifteen goals in nineteen appearances. Ronaldinho Gaúcho subsequently had series of call-ups into the Brazilian senior national team and he always performed overwhelmingly.
