Christopher Lloyd Smalling is an English professional footballer who currently plays for an Italian cub, As Roma in the Serie-A. He joined the club in 2019.
As Roma in the 2022/23 season performed incredibly in both their domestic and continental league. The club was able to get to the finals of the UEFA Europa league final and they were beaten by a Spanish club, Sevilla FC on penalties.
However, As Roma have decided to extend one of the integral members of the team. The club first signed Chris on a one year loan deal from Manchester united in the English premier league on August 30,2019.
Chris Smalling after season gave a good account of himself and was awarded a three years contract which has exhausted in 2023. Chris in the 2022/23 season gave an overwhelming performance. In the domestic scene, he made thirty-eight appearances and scored three goals. In the Europa league, he made eleven appearances and in all games, he was very instrumental.
The English born center back has been officially offered a two years contract from As Roma. Chris Smalling has agreed and signed a new deal at AS Roma which would be valid until June 2025. All agreement were reached
in last month and now it has been made official now.
