Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United set to meet with the entourage of Victor Osimhen.
According to Sacha Taviolieri on Twitter , Premier League giants Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all set to meet up with the representatives of Napoli star Victor Osimhen ahead of a potential summer move.
Osimhen appears partial to a move to the Premier League, meaning the trio of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United hold a small advantage in the matter.
Of the three, it can be argued that Liverpool are the least likely to go big given their stacked frontline.
Despite their new Sporting Director Jorg Schmadtke having worked with the player while at Wolfsburg, the Reds will not pay over the odds nor can they offer UEFA Champions League football.
The same cannot be said of Chelsea, given their seemingly endless pockets.
The Blues are likely to get rid of Romelu Lukaku and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, meaning there is a slot available for an elite attacker on their roster.
Of the three clubs, Manchester United alone can offer Champions League football and are also in need of an elite number nine.
All three clubs have meetings scheduled with the player next week and it remains to be seen what they pitch to his entourage.
Either way, Napoli are unlikely to sell cheap and are already in talks with the player to extend his contract which runs until 2025.
It will take a monumental bid for any club to land Osimhen and given his current standing, Napoli can afford to play hardball.
