Jack Grealish, an attacking midfielder for the England team in this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar has a very heartwarming reason for his unique goal celebration.
The England player, who scored against Iran in the team’s first 2022 World Cup game, honoured his personal promise behind the celebration.
The 6-2 victory marks a positive beginning to England’s World Cup campaign, with Grealish scoring the team’s sixth and final goal of the match.

After scoring his first goal of the Qatar World Cup, Grealish went into a wriggly dance with his arms spread apart.
The fan, named Finlay, originally wrote to Grealish, saying: “I wish there were more people in the world just like you who treat people with disabilities the same as anyone else.”
The midfielder was “really touched” by the letter and wrote back, telling Finlay: “Thank you for saying kind words about me being a good brother to my sister” before sending him a signed Manchester City shirt.
What a celebration from Jack Grealish 🥰

When the two finally met, Grealish said he would do any goal celebration of the 11-year-old’s choosing at the World Cup.
The footballer refused Finaly’s first choice, saying “I can’t do the worm” before agreeing to the arm-waving celebration.
